*Apr, 1950 Haruo Tanaka, grandfather of the present president began Nakayama
Store selling paper bags and ingredients for Japanese confectionary.
*Feb.1957 Started selling school lunch ingredients for elementary and junior
high school
*Nov.1960 Established Nakayama chemical products division and began selling
polyethylene bags
*Apr.1961 Built the factory of Nakayama chemical products division at 118-3
Ohi-cho Ena-city and Installed complete set of automatic bag making machines,
printing machines and photo engraving machines.
*Apr. 1973 Built delivery center in Midorigaoka Ena-city Jul. 1973 Opened
Nagoya office in Dekimahci Higashi-ward Nagoya-city Jan. 1977 Started manufacturing
labels in Shimada Ohi-cho
*Apr. 1978 Moved Food division to Shimada Ohi-cho and built warehouses.
Aug. 1978 Nakayama store was incorporated as a company limited by shares
with a capital of 5 million yen and named Nakayama Co., Ltd
*Aug. 1983 Constructed Nagoya ofiice building
*Jan. 1984 Developed “Naka Clean” (OPP defogging film) jointly with Mitsubishiyuka
Co.,Ltd. and started selling
*Jun. 1987 constructed a large refrigerator for a food division
*Sep. 1987 Expanded Nakayama chemical product division
*May. 1988 Installed the first offset label printing machine
*Oct. 1988 Increased the capital to 10 million yen.
*Jan. 1988 Opened a design room and established the integrated system in
the company
*Nov. 1988 Designed and developed a gerbera cup wrapping machine and started
selling it
*Dec. 1999 Started installation of a large automatic flexible bag making
machine
*Oct. 2003 Install Japan’s first offset label printing machine |
